Jerky Eye

Brian got the eye check up 2 weeks ago with one of the optometrist near our house. I brought him there since he did some mistakes in reading some words such as mistaken between e to i, h to t and else. He got it right at last after looking it carefully. So I thought he might need a pair of glasses to help him read. It was the same story when the optometrist asked me the reason I came.

Well, after several testings, the optometrist did not recommended Brian any glasses. Instead he suggested me to have Brian to see the specialist in behavioral optometrist down in CBD. He found that Brian had a jerky eye that not focus in tracking somethings. The left eye is worse that the right one. I was not really comfortable with the suggestion at first. But, he urged me to do it since he was not the best person who could suggest better treatment for Brian's. Well, what a hell I guess. I just need to get another optometrist to have 2nd opinion.

Then, few days ago while driving kids to their Tae Kwon Do training center. Brian whistled and he said while doing it the view was broken. Not too much, he said but it was cracked a little. Oh my God.. I could not say a word. I asked him more questions but he was not really sure how to described it. So well i might need the behavioral optometrist after all.

After consulting with my husband then I made an appointment with the specialist that was reffered to me before. I only got on Sept 26th and he asked me to bring some of Brian's works from school. I did some research to have an idea what the thing called 'behavioral optometrist' anyway. I found one from here : http://www.pave-eye.com/vision/symptoms.htm

This is not an easy moment for me but at least I need to know what is going on with Brian's eyes and hopefully it will not too late for him to get treatment. And..anyhow we are in Ausralia where we can get better treatment for him. Just wish us luck!!
